Urgent supply of spare parts for Kudankulam NPP Unit No. 2 repair.
Goal of project
During repair of Kudankulam NPP Unit No. 2 repair on January 2020 it has been found out that graphite gaskets at the warehouse are out of date and cannot be used to seal sleeves and ICDA. The project was aimed at ensuring urgent shipment to repair the Unit on time.
Results of project
Rosatom Service JSC jointly with OKB Gidropress JSC made every effort to reduce as much as possible the delivery deadline and provide Unit No. 2 with the required spare parts on time. The gaskets were delivered to Kudankulam NPP and installed at the Unit already in February 2020.
